I am driving up to Lake Superior Provincial Park for a long weekend this month and I was considering heading further on and adding a paddle from the mouth of the Michipicoten river to Dog river and back. I am assuming that some of the folks on this list have paddled this stretch of Lake Superior shore. I am interested in your personal experience of the area. Any suggestions? Caveats? Must see spots.....besides Denison Falls? This trip looks like it is 15-20 miles one way, is that correct? Can I get weather reports clearly along the that locale? Is there a close access to the mouth of the Michipicoten and somewhere that I can leave my vehicle in relative safety? I will appreciate any information, send publicly or privately. Linda (new to the list......paddling since late last summer.......have a P&H Sirius-M (my do-nothing-wrong pet boat).............enjoying reading/hearing the wisdom, controversy, and liveliness of other paddlers' voices.) *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************
