I'm planning to paddle Washington Park to Friday Harbor this Sunday, 
weather permitting.  If anyone is interested in going, let me know ASAP.

Those who have done this route, or other trips to/from Friday Harbor:  What is
the situation on taking-out within walking distance of the ferry?

I'm assuming you already did the trip and discovered that their is a public
takeout dock about 300-400 meters from the ferry dock.
