the above mentioned reasons, especially the curved roof aspects, were the
reasons we chose to acrry yakima, when i managed a bike shop. we couldn't
afford the investment in the two lines, so we chose yakima for the good
solid mounting/applications, and barcrafters, for our low end, best value
for the least dollar ;-)

fits my 85 honda accord... plus, as i mentioned, if you have a car you're
going to keep for a while, it's worth the $150-200 investment to have a 
body shop install a set of "fake raingutters" ... did that on our subaru,
so all the racks i have fit all the cars i have ;-)
