I'll second that, **if** you don't have much astigmatism and if each of your
eyes needs roughly the same amount of correction. I used a pair of these
stick-on lenses on a recent trip, and they were perfectly adequate. I
wondered if spray and drips would remove the lenses. On that trip, the lenses
stayed right in place. I sould mention that I didn't encounter extreme
weather and didn't roll, so maybe in other situations the lenses could come
loose.

They're called "Optix". I found mine at a local CVS pharmacy - haven't seen
them anywhere else in this area - and as far as I can tell, the company
doesn't have a website.

In my case, my right eye is considerably weaker than my left, so I had to buy
two pairs of the Optix, resulting in a $40 pair of "prescription" sunglasses.
That's still a lot less than the cheapest prescription glasses I could get
here, but not much less than some others on the list have paid for optically
corrected sunglasses in other countries. - Bill Hansen
