The main thing you need to be prepared for in Skagway is wind and lots of it.
Skagway typically has some of the strongest winds in Southeast, though not as
much rain. The best way to gear up is to take what you would take for a New
England paddle on a blustery spring day. who knows you may luck out and get a
calm sunny day and wonder what the heck I was talking about!
