Does anyone have any experience with the accuracy of the predictions for the channels inside the group? We used the Canadian Current Atlas and Washburne's tables on a recent trip from Anacortes, north around Guemes, across Bellingham Channel to Cypress (Pelican Beach) around the north end of Cypress, back across to Lummi/Eliza, and across Bellingham Bay to Chuckanut. It was very accurate except for the Bellingham Bay prediction. We should have had a somewhat counter-clockwise current, and instead, it was rotating clockwise in Bellingham Bay, setting us a lot further south than was predicted.
