i usually run one or two lines through all the bow & stern loops. it
depends on how many boats, and how far ;-) for any distance, i like to
have belts and suspenders ;-) for a short vehicle shuttle, just the "belly
bands" otherwise bow and stern lines as well. if the boats [so far max is
5 plastic boats on my subaru] ends are close together, i'll just use on
rope, but would reall prefer one rope per boat, but it usually doesn't end
up that convenient!!
