I carry them in a PFD pocket, and do not worry about them geting wet -- they are the upgraded Skyblazers, and seem pretty well protected from water entry. With that sea sock, a knee tube under the deck would be difficult to fashion, although a velcro-closed pair of slits might allow under-deck bungies to penetrate the sea sock without compromising it too badly. I believe someone on this list has done that, IIRC.
