[Paddlewise] signal devices

A Great website : http://www.equipped.com/home.htm .Forget the "Equipped to
Survive" name of it though. Very good discussion of flare guns, signal
mirrors, EPIRBS and PLB's. What is nicest though is that there is a review
of products, as well as email and/or websites for the products mentioned.
The orientation of the page is mostly survival after a "marine" accident, or
a plane "force down.  The pro's & con's of each method of signaling is well
balanced, and surprisingly) and refreshingly the authors come down strongly
for low tech traditional methods, rather than recommending every one buy an
Iridium system  :)

Well worth looking into!
