Well, I waited until the day before departing to try to put batteries into my back-up AA pack and they don't fit. My fine motor skills are fine. Is there a trick to it? Also, after I take it off the charger, it very quickly (within minutes) goes from 3 dashes on the indicator to two. Does this indicate a lame battery? I got the radio used and I don't have the manual.
