Hello Paddlers I know several on this list are into plastic kayak rentals and perhaps there are others with the information. Can anyone direct me to a "tool supply company" or similar, where I can get tools to do minor plastic repairs? My usual repair job is... deep scratches on the boats. I use a propane torch and soldering iron to remelt the plastic. This does a fair job but I'm thinking there should be some 'irons' that have a flat head, or some tool designed specifically for plastic repair on a small scale, that would do a better job.
