I don't use a tether on my Greenland paddle, because it would interfere with my sliding technique. However, I carry a Greenland storm paddle as a spare on my foredeck, where it is accessible should I lose my main paddle. Because it is a one-piece paddle, no assembly is required, and I find it very easy to grab when capsized and roll up with. Does anyone else on this list who uses a Greenland paddle tether it?
