If your e-mail program doesn't have similar features you can follow Allan's procedure but paste into a new e-mail message that you address and send to yourself. Then you receive only the part you want to save or print. And you can change the subject however works for you. No headers, footers, long repeats, etc to deal with. This is a little more awkward, but it also works if you receive Paddlewise in digest form. You can just highlight and copy the messages or partial messages you want. There's other free software to deal with digest mail, and if I ever get it to work and anyone is interested, I'll post more info about that. Maybe someone else on the list has already mastered that and can tell us? By the way, Jackie hasn't reminded us recently, but we could all help reduce unnecessary volume by using the highlight and Cut function when we are replying to messages. There's often no need to retain the full text of a previous message in your reply. Also works on the accumulation of headers and footers.
