[Paddlewise] Paul Theroux

Hi Everyone-

I'm in the process of reading a very interesting book By Paul Theroux 
entitled "The Happy Isles of Oceania" in which he describes paddling all 
around oceania in a folding kayak. I can't, however, find any details about 
his kayak(brand, style etc) except that it packs into two separate bags. 
Maybe I just haven't gotten to that part yet, but does anybody happen know 
this esotric snippet of information?
