The message below was recently sent as a post. There were some private e-mail comments included at the beginning; they have been subtracted below, and this now is how it was supposed to read. The private e-mail comments, fortunately, were annonymous in my post. Jackie did not initiate the original private e-mail, so don't attribute any comments to her. I hit the send key too soon, before checking it over. Sorry! (And now the EXCUSE) My wife was nagging me to get off Paddlewise while I was posting, and join the rest of the family for dinner, telling me to get off paddlewise, and that I've been on it too much, then, she said something about me getting a life! Can you imagine? Anyway, next time I'll be more careful, but I do thank the many of you who privately e-mailed me, thanking me for an honest appraisal of the symposium. And the last point, I hope the newbies out there who have been lurking for awhile, won't be afraid to ask questions that have been dealt with before. So what if we rehash stuff. The more a subject gets aired, the more little bits of info one picks up. I think it's great, and I would go as far as to say that I've gotten more out of a month of paddlewise than from a weekend symposium. So, keep on posting, so I can have a life :-) ,and I'll keep on keeping on, trying to post more carefully.
