Paddlewisers, I am considering whether or not to purchase a desalinization pump, particularly the PUR Survivor 35, for kayaking trips. Some trips I am considering would be very difficult without desalinating water, because I would have to carry too much fresh water. Are these pumps practical and reliable, and how is the PM on them? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
