I was looking for a boat that had a smaller beam and longer than the kayak I am paddling now (not to mention lighter and fiberglass). Seems to have a low back deck as well, should be as easy (or easier) to roll as well. It has recieved quite the endorsements of all who I heard paddled it, seems to be a problem though for those with big feet however. I have admired the Pygmy boats as well, though I believe that they sell in kit form only. I have found a reasonably inexpensive okume source which should minimize cost. Keep me appraised of your project, as I will be encountering similar obstacles. > *************************************************************************** -- : : Gabriel L Romeu : http://studiofurniture.com furniture from the workshop : http://members.xoom.com/gabrielR life as a tourist, daily journal : http://users.aol.com/romeugp paintings, photographs, etchings, objects *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Wed Sep 29 1999 - 15:49:37 PDT
