I solo 80 % of the time mostly due to the fact that when I do paddle with
someone else it is usally a group of high school kids at camp or friends who
want to try sea-kayaking for the first time. I enjoy teaching them about
kayaking but it can also at times be frustrating....so going out solo means I
can set my own pace , go where I want, as long as I want.
