I have paddled the entire California coast, all but 200 miles of it solo. I
don't want to be responsible for others, the logisitics are simplified and I
can paddle at my own pace. I do enjoy partners but they are few and far
between when it comes to long distance touring.

Sid,

Have you written it up anywhere?  I'm in Ca. and would be fascinated.
There is a distinct lack of guide-books for Ca. paddling.

Not that I'd try it myself, mind you, but I would like to do a little piece
of
it here or there and it would be great to have info on best/worst places.
