The Trade Association of Paddlesports is pleased to announce the debut of the Southern California PaddleFest at beautiful Irvine Lake in San Silverado, CA, on Saturday, October 2nd and Sunday, October 3rd. Meet the folks who build the boats at Californiašs largest paddling industry association canoe and kayaking event.

The Southern California PaddleFest has something for everyone: hands on instructional programs for beginning paddlers, kayak and canoe demonstrations, classes and lectures, the latest in new products and designs as well as presentations from some of the best known and respected speakers in the paddling world. Our offerings cover everything from basic paddling to dressing for the weather and secret paddling locations in the LA area and beyond.

Everyone is welcome to participate in this exciting event and learn more about paddlesports in a non-competitive, festive environment. >From beginners to advanced paddlers, there is something for people of all ages and skills levels at the Southern California PaddleFest.

Many of the nations finest retailers, outfitters, instructional programs and manufacturers will be on hand to demonstrate the latest in equipment and techniques and to make certain your first paddling experience is a great one.

Registration opens at 8 AM Saturday and Sunday October 2nd  and 3rd. Every pass includes an introductory paddling class and there will be hundreds of boats to try on the demo beach. Here's some more info and schedule for the Paddlefest:

All registration is now being done on site. Registration opens at 8 am each 
day and the classes begin at 9 am. 

The location is: Irvine Park, 4621 Santiago Canyon Road, Silverado, CA (site 
phone 714-649-9113)

Event costs are:

o $20 for a general beach pass which allows you full access to the demo 
beach, the basic introductory paddling class, and the retail display area.
o $49 for a day pass, which includes the above, as well as all of the on 
water and beach classes throughout the day.
o $88 for a full event pass, all classes and clinics and demos for both 
Saturday and Sunday.

You can upgrade  / change your registration at the event.
