About a year ago, I found a strap-on, temporary skeg for around $35 somwhere on the web. It was held in fore-aft position using two pins installed on deck. I lost the URL and can no longer find it on AltaVista. Anyone know who sells it? This is different from the one made by Feathercraft for the Khatsalano. The people who build poly kayaks for Old Town make one that converts (more or less) their whitewater kayaks to flatwater use. It slips over the stern and holds on with bungee cord. If that sounds like what you want I will se what I can find out. Most of the kayak shops around here seem to have these things. ETC.
