Inland Sea Kayakers, a chapter of the Minnesota Canoe Association
(MCA), now has its own Web site. The site is still under construction,
so you may find a few unfinished rooms and a few tools lying about
(though Jody does her best to sweep up at the end of each day), but
if you would like to take a peek, you will find us at
http://www.isk.canoe-kayak.org/.

The Photos and Fun page has a report by Jody about our Voyageurs
National Park trip in August. The people in the group photo in the
montage are, clockwise from upper left, Ralph Fernandez, who a week
later retired as head of Bio-Medical Graphics at the University of
Minnesota and then immediately returned to Voyageurs with his son and
his son's girl friend; Paddlewiser Dana Dickson, our entomologist who
refrained from telling us till the last day that the gentle rain of
green pellets falling from the trees was army worm excrement; me; new
Paddlewiser Jody Russell, the professional Web designer who created
our site (say hi, Jody); and my wife, Linda Campbell, who is vice-
president of the MCA this year.

All the photos on the page are Jody's, except the photo of her at the
top, which was taken by Dana. She has asked me to contribute some of
mine, but it may take me a while yet to find the time to scan them and
to supply other information she needs for the Web site. (It's not her
fault the site isn't finished.) The photo of me on the Who We Are page
was taken in a cave in the Apostle Islands by Linda with her now-defunct
Minolta Weathermatic.

I hope you enjoy the site and come back for another visit.

Chuck Holst
