Hi, guys. Remember my question a few months back about survival equipment
that will fit in a PFD pocket?

Just bought Coghlan's Survival Kit-In-A-Can ($8.99 at The Sports Authority).
It is very ingenious: I am not making this up: It is a sardine can with a
pull tab that "contains 38 items which can provide warmth, shelter and energy
in life threatening situations from the dester to the arctic."

A few: compass, fire starter, cord, multi-use wire, matches, fish line,
bouillon soup packet, tea bag, sugar packet, razor blade, signal mirror, 12"
duct tape, fish hooks, signal whistle.......etc.

"Factory sealed, the can assures both the usability and the completeness of
the list of contents. And when opened, the can provides cup, cooking pot,
and bailer."

Also, when opened, you will have a bunch of little things falling all over
the place. I will place it in a small zip lock that can later serve as a
holder.

Also bought another cute item: It's a plastic wine glass with a screw-on
stem/base that stores inside the "bowl" part ($4.99).
