We do 12 to 17 miles per trip. They aren't fast but they aren't slow, either. I'm not sure if he does winter paddles every week. He loves to surf his boat. He certainly inspires all of us who paddle with him for both his paddling skills and his graciousness to those of us with lesser experience and skills. As a baby boomer I see a long paddling future for myself and my friends.
