Hi Sandy et al,
This thought just occurred to me: I use Netscape Mail. All of the
messages in a particular folder are saved as a single file. I was able
to open this file in Microsoft Word, and do a Find on whatever keyword I
was looking to find the relevant posts on. For instance, I did a Find
on "3x5 cards" in that file to look up your original post to do this
(very belated!) response. Of course, this file, after less than 6
months, is 2900 pages long, but at least it's not printed on paper!!!

It's not quite the same as having an index card with relevant info on
somebody, but if you're trying to rack your mind remembering a specific
post, it's a pretty easy way to look it up.
