For those of you noticing that your stainless steel knives are rusting, no metal will be completely free of rust. Some just rust less quickly than others. Also, if you are using it in and around salt water, it is extremely important to rinse it in fresh water. All stainless steels are corroded by high levels of chlorides. The levels in sea water are extremely high - on the order of 10,000 parts per million or 1 %. This will do in your stainless steel knife very quickly. Just rinse it and dry it and you should be ok.
