It just occurred what trip you were talking about. Is it the one for all
the clubs to get together last year?
If so yall were the ones forgotten and missed dinner if I remember right. I
learned a lot participating in that paddle , like the people organizing
needed to keep count on how many people were put on the river, how many
were taken off the river, no matter what, if the water is to high and
dangerous cancel the event. I hope the outfitter at Hidden river ( Barbara)
learned the lesson cause the trip was a accident waiting to happen and she
was lucky no one got hurt or died.

Well I wasn't going to name names as the woman was as humiliated as I was
furious and I would hope she got it together. I have to say one of the
pissyest moments that after walking for GA to FL to find a phone (was only
about a mile) I was told (not by Barbara) that "well gee we're in the middle
of dinner and everybody's been drinking, we'll get to you when we can"
Turns out that Brad Manley from PaddleFlorida & some guy from the Silent
Otters brought a flatbed & a trailer down to rescue us. The women were
terrified. I thought it was about the best ride I'd had in a loooong time.
