The December issue of Sea Kayaker has a picture of Yakima's new Mako Saddles --- selling them by the pair instead of a set of four! Way to go, Yakima! Finally starting to listen to your faithful customers, huh? Buyable at $55, the pair. Unfortunately, the Makos do look a little like upturned and distorted toilet plungers to me. Not exactly sure which part of the shark they're supposed to look like, but they're new and different and belong on all those Lexi out there, I'm sure. And they'll probably get a pretty good grip on the hull, too.
