Tether it with a shortish line to the shoulder of your PFD or >other fairly high spot so you can get it into you mouth. Personally I don't like to have a bunch of strings and/or objects dangling from me. So I have tied a piece of string to my whistle with a large white plastic bead on the opposite end. The whistle goes in the pocket with the bead hanging out. The pocket flap is held in place by Velcro so all I have to do is yank on the bead to retrieve the whistle. Works for me. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Fri Oct 29 1999 - 11:08:05 PDT
