Have my eye on a few touring kayaks...... d) Special Interests: Kayaking, travel, fishing, arts and architecture, history, especially local FL history. e) Specialist knowledge: Kayak fishing, island camping the 10,000 islands in the Everglades Nat'l Park. <*)))< f) Most interesting kayak trip: There are too many to mention but the highlights so far are: Did a 7 day Gulf loop trip on a sit on top in the 10,000 islands. While not in a kayak but in a canoe, paddled the Boundary Waters and also canoed Algonquin in Canada. Finally, a day trip in Baja, Calif on a sit on top (won me over to purchase current boat) was a gorgeous paddling experience. Hopefully, there will be many long kayak trips in my future. I am considering a folding or take apart kayak to take along on trips in the US.
