I've narrowed my search for a (relatively) inexpensive GPS unit to this
model. It's primary usage is for high latitude (67North) coordinates. My main
use of it would be to locate position in fog, or low cloud cover in a
relatively open environment,in areas where magnetic North may be unreliable.
(And not for continuous usage...perhaps a few "sightings/day max.)

There are fancier models with maps,etc...but very poor coverage for northern
Canada, without very expensive add-ons.

Would this be an acceptable type of GPS for my intended use? Has any one had
first-hand experience with this particular model? It is priced at $250
through REI, but I think I might be able to find it somewhat cheaper.

Thanks!
