RE: [Paddlewise] Pygmy Coho

I built a Coho last winter and I've been very happy with it.  The
photos you've probably seen in Pygmy's brochure and website really
don't do it justice.  The boat looks MUCH better than you'd think.
You'll have paddlers and non paddlers alike staring at it every time
you stop at a light.  If you decide to build one, drop me a note and I
can send a bunch of tips.  I was corresponding via email with someone
else who was building one at the same time and we shared lots of info.
I can put it all together and send it.  After I finished it, I had a
chance to see and paddle a few factory built CLC boats at the
Symposium in Charleston this past spring. IMHO the Coho looks and
paddles much better than the comparable CLC boat.
