I actually got my recumbent as a result of kayaking-induced shoulder tendonitis (the kayaker's dreaded rotator cuff tendonitis). I found it harder and harder to ride an upright bike- too much shoulder pain. My bike is locally built by a specialist recumbent builder, Wayne Kotzur. It's purple, with red wheels and a black seat. My main initial gripe was lack of rear vision. I got motorcycle mirror from a mc wrecker and had wayne attach it. It's large and gives ample rear vision. Shoulder tendonitis has receded to a significant degree now after much effort but I still ride the recumbent, and am able to kayak (and type) again nick *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Thu Nov 04 1999 - 19:10:14 PST
