I know I have posted this site at least once in the past 4 months, but for those who may not have seen the (segmental) trip reports, it is worth a gander. There are now four reports covering the trip from England to France across France to the Mediterranean Sea, and 3 photo galleries. The 4th section..the French Riviera to the Italian Coast, has a lot of humor to it, as well as some warnings about where not to camp (as a storm approaches). I like the way it is kept "light" too, without a lot of personal musings, which I sometimes think is the bane of modern adventure/expedition writing. (cf: the continuing saga of Jon Turk' s humorless self-inflicted trip across the North Pacific http://www.goals.com/coldoceans/newsb.asp ) If this is one post too many about this site, let me know. I think it is worth looking at. http://www.tgseakay.dircon.co.uk/main1.htm Rich Dempsey ridem_at_msn.com *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Sat Nov 06 1999 - 16:29:46 PST
