[Paddlewise] Fwd: [CPAKayaker] not so dry drysuits

Duct tape would be the only thing I could think of for an easy on-water
repair.
For a permanent repair, it would depend on the type of tear.  If it's
just a simple straight-line tear, you could probably whip-stitch it shut
with a needle and nylon thread, and then coat both front and back of the
repair with Aquaseal.

For just about any repair, you could also find a piece of waterproof,
coated nylon the slightly oversize and the shape of your tear.  Tape the
tear together on the outside of the drysuit.  Coat the patch material
with Aquaseal and place it over the back of the tear.  When it cures,
take off the tape and put a thin layer of Aquaseal over the tear on the
outside of the suit.
