I have to agree strongly with Arthur on this. While a good smooth writer 
is easy to read sometimes, they also can be just that and no more. Smooth 
with lots of style, and little else. Some authors are so slick that I 
slide right to sleep.
I think if someone has something to say, then they should just put it 
down from the heart. The story will come through generally in the wash.

James, who tends to bag smooth and fake together(wrongly at times)
