I will say however that I still remember a night from 29 years ago when I was camping on a balsam bough bed and watching the snow fall in the fire light. It was a magic night. My answer to the question is if you need to go bad enough you find a way. I do my winter camping in a cabin. When nature calls I put on my boots walk out the door, hoist my night shirt and take care of business. Others I know use a pee bottle. If you choose option B make sure the bottle is very well marked and easy to distinguish from a water bottle.
