My baby brother is a C.G. swimmer and did several of the
Hawai'i B/W episodes. If you see some guy who's got my butt
(and possibly some funny color hair), it's him.

He pulled Branson and Fosset (and that other guy who wasn't
rich) out of the drink when their balloon went down (don't
get me started on what an unconscionable waste of money
that whole thing was, and my little bro' risking his butt to
save theirs) off HI on x-mas eve. They left their fabulous
drysuits in the chopper and I was in line for one, until
some lackey came by and got them. If I mentioned that
before, forgive me another senior moment.

I think paddlers in the Pacific NW are generally stronger,
kinder, prettier, cleverer, and rear their young better than
anybody else. And I'm sticking to that.

Thats because they have more cabin time to work out, practice kindness,
doll themselves up, read, and chastise their children than those of us in the
banana republics. We're too busy yakking, boating, fishing, camping, biking,
canoeing, snorkling, and all the other things I cant think of.....

Thats my story n I'm sticking to it!

Why don't you start your own "Ed Sullivan" amateur hour and show the rest of
us this glamorous lot and their talents. Might even be good enough for a TV
show.

Couldn't resist that one!
