For ease of assembly times, and if you can, leave any new boat assembled for a few weeks, if at all possible.  This will get everything nicely stretched out and the tubes will take a slight helpful set.

One other thing which works nicely, is to mark which pieces were assembled on the port and which on the starboard side of the folder, while you let it take a set for awhile. The thin racing-stripe tape sold at boat stores works well for this. I use a piece of red stripe around the starboard pieces (red, right...so I remember what I did). The set is never *exactly* symmetric.
