I have personally dealt once with: http://www.abc-direct.com/ and once
with http://www.discountknives.com/ and have been pleased with the speed
and appropriateness of their response to my online order. In fact, I have
across the board been happy with online orders of books and equipment from
several essentially randomly chosen companies such as those above. Admittedly
most companies that've gotten my "e trade" were well established before
acquiring a "virtual" identity - REI and the Nantahala Outdoor Center and the
like. And, I recognize that I've likely been lucky with the rest because I
rather blithely broadcast my Visa #'s to "secure" servers but the results, so
far, only encourage me to continue.
