And I keep all of the welcome emails just in case I ever want to unsubscribe. Good thing, too. I needed them when I changed from mnoyes_at_ix.netcom.com to mnoyes_at_gsinet.net. It will be a long time before I ever unsubscribe from Paddlewise, but I may change servers again in the future. I guess that makes me a truly sick soul too! :-) Mike -- Paddling along through fog so thick that only one's thoughts are visible, your reverie is abruptly shattered by the ancient cry of a great blue heron as she lifts uncertainly from the brilliant blue of a mussel-shell beach witnessed only by the brooding, wet spruce....your passage home seems as much back through time as it does through space. I also find it useful to unsubscribe when going on vacation. Otherwise I could come home to 175 messages, which is more than I can manage to wade through. I also belong to two paddling lists, although the other one isn't nearly as prolific as PW.
