Mark - your multiple belief holds true for most "toys". At least that what
I tell my future wife when she comments on my 2 bikes, 6 snowboards (soon
7), 2 tents, 2 sleeping bags, several packs, etc.. I'm not so sure she's
convinced, but she's learning (she wants a 3rd snowboard).

I do have only one kayak - but that's only temporary.

I too enjoy recumbents. I have a Vision Recumbents short wheelbase bike
which I find to be very comfortable. Just as Sea Kayaking enables me to sit
upright in a nice big seat and see the world as I paddle, the recumbent gets
rid of nasty pressure points and lets me sit upright and see what I am
peddling past rather than hunching over and cursing my aching wrists.

i bought my first [and hopefully only ;-] recumbent this spring. it's
interesting... hard to ride up some of the steeper hills, since you
can't just stand up!!
