[Paddlewise] new kid on the "dock"

I recently got a FolBot folding 2 person Kayak.
Although I had plenty of experience around sailboats
and kayaks growing up, it has been 25 years since I
was in a Kayak. I will be going to the Florida Keys
for a couple of weeks in March. I would like to take
my Kayak along and after an orientation lesson, go out
on the "Flats" with it. Has anyone had any experience
Kayaking around the Fla. Keys? Any and all advice
welcomed. PS. This Kayak does not have a Rudder or a
spray skirt and I will probably take this 2 person
Kayak out with only me in it. Thanks Charlie G.
