typical fashion I was sent to 6 weeks of cold weather training in Fallon,
NV.   Temps never above -15 F and 6 foot deep runways in the ice and snow
to walk around in.  God forsaken wind down your collar "26" hours a day
when out of that 'rat maze'.  All that good cold weather training came to
naught when about 45 days later I was exported toward DaNang for an
extended hiking-camping trip in the bush of a not-so-friendly little
country in southeast Asia.  Go figure.
I'll stick to these 3 week Louisiana winters thank ya very much.
B-r-r-r-r-r  ...somebody reach in there and hand me another cold beer,
will ya ?
