I recently purchased a custom made paddle and really want to hang on to it. I am looking for suggestions regarding the lock down of a paddle. My ideas include: Installing a standard kayak security loop to the back of the center armrest of my Geo Metro and then running a small, short cable ($3.99) through and then around and around the shaft then padlocking the ends together. This type of configuration would set the paddle between the front seats blade on passenger floor and the back of the paddle between backseat riders. What else can be done? Any other ideas out there? Anything by Yakima? I hope this query serves to help us all.
