Actually, it sounded like he was describing Hawaii (which has quite
frequent rains, I hear).  I think he misses his birth home, Cancun, quite 
a bit and, like me, also misses the rain after being in southern California 
awhile where... IT NEVER RAINS... or hardly ever... can be a bummer when
you are used to the frequent, sweet and wonderful smell of fresh showers.
