Hello Paddlers, I'm planning a multi-day trip soon and have been looking at the Suwannee (I've never paddled it before). Does anyone on the list know what the conditions on the river are this time of year? According to a local outfitter, the water level is really too low to enjoy and he suggested the Santa Fe (near Gainesville). I don't know whether that's really the case or if he just doesn't want to do the transport to the Suwannee. I'd really rather do the Suwannee, but if the water level wouldn't make it enjoyable, then I'd go elsewhere. Anyone have any insights?
