[Paddlewise] Kleppers and the Feathercraft rudder

G'Day,

I've been routinely using a Klepper Aerius without a rudder and much prefer
to do this. However just occasionally on a long trip the rudder takes some
of the effort out of keeping the boat straight in a quartering sea. As far
as turning goes the rudder is more of a hindrance than a help as the Klepper
seems to turn on a dime when it has to. Does anyone know where I can get a
retractable Skeg for the Klepper preferably something about the same size as
a Feathercraft rudder?
