I have used my Leatherman extensively for camping, fishing, boat repairs, cleaning fish, common house hold repairs, etc., and find that the needle nose pliers, as well as the rest of the tools, are as good or better as any tool I own. Not only that, but when I managed to break one of the knife blades after two years of hard use, I sent it back to the company where it was repaired, cleaned and sharpened for free, with no questions asked. It has become an essential part of not only my outdoor and paddling gear, but my life.
