Hallo everybody,

Sea-kayaking is a sport that, in my country (Argentina), has evolved based
mostly on the NORDKAPP, from VCP. So we can say we know it well enough and
under any situations.

But during the last years lots of different designs appeared world-wide,
designs we can unfortunately only see in pictures or magazines, as they are
not found in our market. As a minor manufacturer I am always interested in new
designs, but as I said before, I never had the chance to test them by myself.

I would appreciate very much if you send me, ( off the list if you prefer )
your opinion about the pros and cons of the Nordkapp, which kayaks do you own,
and why do you find them better or more appropriate for you, and if you
consider yourselves novices, advanced or expert seakayakers. I wan´t to put
something clear, I don´t think the Nordkapp is the best design, I don´t even
believe there is a "best" design. The Nordkapp has been in extreme and remote
places like the Cape Horn, for wich it was designed, but the CHINOOK from
Aquaterra has also been there, and this is what I consider a completely
oposite design. As I said before, the Nordkapp is the only real reference I
know enough to compare the kayaks you use aand the kayaks you describe an talk
about in the list.

If you´re willing to send pictures off-line they´ll be welcome. Thank you in
advance.
